Discovering Pie Pizza in Yokohama

By

We were exploring the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse area and dad spotted Pie Holic and wanted to try a pie. Turns out it is an American restaurant!

Outside of a restaurant called Pie Holic, on the bottom floor of a brick warehouse building.

You might be wondering “why a pie restaurant?” when my blogs are about pizza… It’s because they had… you guessed it! Pie pizza! 🀯🀯🀯🀯🀯🀯🀯🀯

Margherita pizza on a blue plate. The pizza's base is puff pie pastry.

The reason I called it “pie pizza!” was because it had a pie pastry base! It was a new take on the Margherita!

I liked the texture of the pastry and the toppings were fresh and good like the other pizzas I’ve reviewed here – I ate the whole thing! Compared to bread-based pizza it was more like a snack, so I had room for more food! 🀀 I also had a macaroni and cheese pie.

Buuuuuuuut not everyone in my family liked the pastry base on their pie pizza… 😱 My mum did not like it! 😳 🀯 πŸ™€ (She prefers original pizza bases. 🀨)

My rating: πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•πŸ•

After dinner we went on the Cosmo Clock (ferris wheel) It was fun and a good view!

Yokohama's Cosmo World theme park on a sunny day from a walk way lined with trees. Largest is the giant ferris wheel, the Cosmo Clock.

That rollercoaster looks fun!

We’re at the top!

Overall it was a “well rounded” day in Yokohama πŸ˜‚
