It’s been a while since we’ve had pizza because we’ve been in areas without pizza restaurants for a while, but now we’re in Nagano which is filled with Italian restaurants. Good Homies Pizza had a cool name and logo on the wall so in we went. I wasn’t that hungry, but my mum and dad were!
Good homie’s pizza is on the main road heading from Nagano station to Zenkoji temple. Its a modern type place And has only been open since july 2024!!
It’s a New York style, big pieces. It was a bit like Sal’s back home.
No Margherita on the menu, but there was cheese which is basically a Margherita without basil on top. The pizza was more cheesy than others we’ve tried. (My preference is having 1~2 mozzarella slices a piece.)
Since we came just before dinner time, we saw that there was already pizza made in the display case so we chose to have it reheated for us.
By the way I wasn’t that hungry and it might have been nicer if we had a fresh one. However my dad really enjoyed it!

Haha funny how your ratings are so different! Why was your rating low? Was it too much cheese?
I didn’t like the crunchy base (because of the reheating) and missed the flavour of the basil.
