On the side of a kind of rocky road we spot a modern style type building with a cursive lettering spelling “Monk”.
When we entered we were instantly greeted by the friendly staff and chef. Once we were settled in our seats we were given some pizza bread with oil and parmesan cheese. While eating, I noted some details and observations.

(Here are some things I noted down…)
There is a candle in the dim lit room, calm lights above make it not too dark. While the sky dims outside it never dims a bit inside.
A ceiling fan cools from above while the pizza oven burns nearby, it makes the perfect contrast of temperature.
Muffled conversations of people sharing their delights of the food give a nice background.
The adults got a bunch of other different types of dishes including fish, vegetables and soup.
But I got the kids menu… which means… PIZZA!

The pizza was a smallish size compared to the ones I’ve had so far, but that really doesn’t matter because…
There was a good amount of basil (as you can see from the picture above).
Not too much cheese but blended perfectly, the right amount.
The crust was nice, a little bit crispy but that’s usual for a wood fire pizza.
The flavours blended perfectly, sauce was fresh and delicious.

The whole pizza looked and tasted amazing my favourite pizza so far! I give it…

I think you missed out on the vegetables Arlo! My favourite dish was the green leafy one that tasted amazing, I have no idea how a leafy green can taste like that. I also liked the way the chef and team would come to explain the dishes personally – the whole evening was an experience. One of the best meals in my life. 🤩
