I couldn’t just start my blog in Japan, I had to start in Wellington (my home) so here are 4 Margherita pizzas I tried…

Pizza Pomodoro

We started with Pizza Pomodoro which was really good it was salty (I like salty stuff!). The base was nice and chewy, it was good, original, Italian style with tasty sloppy tomato sauce.

Pizza Napoli

Only a short walk away was pizza Napoli. It felt posh and had a good vibe to it. The tomato sauce had an amazing flavour to it, and blended very well with the cheese, and once again it was a sloppy Italian style!

Ding Dang Cafe

(Now you might not agree with me on this one because the time we got to Ding Dang cafe I wasn’t that hungry any more, so I also added my friends ratings into it as well…)

Next was Ding Dang Cafe which i’ve been told has the best cheese scones in Wellington! The cheese was good but it felt like it had a shortage of tomato sauce. I plan to go back there and try it again!

Sal’s is wildly known for it’s huge New York style pizzas and once again the Nonna was goood!
